For the record I asked that we send out a formal note to warn of the coming save-the-date. Nothing worse than the shock of having to set your schedule without some kind of warning of a warning.
I'm back --- took a short break from regular blogging but expect more new entries with more consistency. I'm learning so much everyday about this blessed experience that I can't wait to share with the unknown blogosphere.

Thanks for the warning of a warning! Its good that you're letting people know that you are going to let them know that you are going to invite them. This gives us all enough time to find something to wear.
I mean, what does one wear to the wedding of two 7 ft tall Olympic wrestling rocket scientists? ;-)
